One of the most important ways to consciously conceive is to connect our hearts to our wombs. Creating a trusting relationship with your uterus can be very transformative. This is especially important if you have been having difficulty with your fertility.
When we walk into or become a part of this fertility world, and month after month, we try to conceive and fail, it can create a big disconnect and mistrust between us and our bodies, and especially our wombs. We start to doubt ourselves and our bodies. When dealing with fertility issues, it can often feel like our bodies are working against us, like we have to fight with our bodies. The constant cycle of disappointment in which we think we could be pregnant and then this sense of failure when we know we aren't sets us up for disconnection. This will often create more stress and more tension which will affect our nervous system and cortisol levels all of which will negatively impact our ultimate goal.
Connection between your heart and womb, between yourself and your body, is fundamental to healing. It's about feeling that you have the ultimate power and that your womb is your friend and you are working with your body to make your wish come true.
